|INSTITUTE for QUALITY in SENIOR LIVING|
WHAT: The IQSL Accreditation signals an organization's commitment to continuous quality improvement across several different key quality indicators (KQI). IQSL Accreditation is a 2 year accreditation that allows the accredited organization to use the IQSL logo and affiliation in marketing to outside referral sources.
HOW: The IQSL Accreditation is a survey based accreditation that measures several different aspects of quality throughout an organization that provides services in the senior living marketplace by using validated tools to provide a unique score for each quality segment and an aggregated score similar to a grading system. The grading system allows the consumer to quickly identify providers that meet their own personal standards. The individual grades for each quality segment are known as Key Quality Indicators (KQI).
WHY: The accreditation allows other organizations to immediately recognize the value in partnering with the accredited organization. Primary care organizations are pressed with ensuring patients that are discharged will not readmit and the accreditation status allows the primary care providers to know that their patients are being sent to the highest quality provider available.
